We had a wonderful weekend when our 3 sons & their families came for a visit.  We enjoyed 20 of our grandkids and their parents on a family trek of about 5 miles.
Grumpa with 2 little pioneer girls:  Brinley & Bristol.
They could even pull a handcart.

But they really enjoyed having their dad pull them.  Jason pulling Bodel, Brinley, Bracken, & Brielle in the handcart with Boston, Bridger, & Baxter pushing.
Our day at Rock Creek Hollow was sold & rainy so we hurried to get some quick pictures with Brad's, Adam's, & Jason's families by the mass grave.
Jason's family by the grave memorial.
Jason, Heidi, & Bodel by the grave marker;  Bodel is named after little Bodil Mortensen who is one of the 13 who are buried here.
Brinley, Andi, Brielle, Adri, & AJ by the rushing waters of The Sinks.
Brad & Oliva by the Popo Agie River flowing into The Sinks.

We enjoyed seeing The Sinks and watching the fish down in the river below.
                                    Boston & AJ
These are the best of Wyoming's Wildlife.

Boston, Kyle, Bridger, Baxter, Tyler, AJ
                                                       Grumpa, Jason, Brad, Adam
The men & Boys of the group
                                                        The women & girls

Playing with handcarts in camp.  They were all getting ready for the big trek the next day.

                                           Heidi with Bodel and Bracken.
Tyler, Baxter, Katelyn anxiously waiting to trek.

Addi, Annie, Bristol, Brinley, Brielle, Andi
                                                              Bracken
Off we go, trekking as the Baker Family, 8 adults, 20 kids, 3 handcarts.

Don't they look like the best pioneers ever?

                                             Are we there yet?
Grumpa & his little buddy, AJ

                                        How much farther?

                                             Adam Baker Family

                                        Brad Baker Family

We made it back to camp,  Yippee!
Whew!  Relaxing after a day of being handcart pioneers.
But wait. . . .  No day is complete without a round of good old square dancing. . . .  Which everyone thoroughly enjoyed!

So much fun!  We loved being together, learning about the pioneers who travelled through here, and pulling handcarts ourselves to get just a small taste of what the pioneers did.
We missed the rest of our family; but who knows, maybe we can all do this again sometime.
Love you all!  Thanks for making it a great experience to be remembered.
