After a short trip home, we came back to Quartzsite with visitors - our neighbors, the Gordon's who we enjoyed showing around the area. We took pictures by a huge Saguaro cactus.
This was Gold Star week in our RV park so we got to be in the park parade with our 1928 Chevy with 2 of the Golden Girls of the park - they were the oldest park residents, ages 93 & 94. They had a great time waving to all their friends.
We've been out riding the 4-wheeler and exploring the area. Found some old mines, remnants of Gen. Patton's Army Camps, and some mountain sheep.
Golfing in the desert must be quite a challenge but still available for the avid golfer. We found at least 3 similar courses in the area.
The wild daisies are in full bloom throughout the park & we are lucky enough to have them blooming on our corner too.
that golf course looks like you'd need a 4wheeler to navigate through it :) what fun. love the wild daisies!!
