We've had a great past couple of weeks.  We took a drive and found the Sweetwater Gorge.  So beautiful there;  pictures just don't do it justice!

This is Lewiston Lake just west of Rocky Ridge.  The historic trails went past here.

There are really some interesting rock formations here and you can even find cedar & pinion trees.

                                                     Grumpa strikes a pose.

These shots are overlooking the Sweetwater River in the meadow area of Sixth Crossing.  The water has been so high and the meadow has been flooded this spring so the mosquitos are striking with a vengenance.  The water is receding now somewhat but still too high to take handcarts through the river.

This is along the pioneer trail that the trekkers pass by from Rocky Ridge to Rock Creek Hollow.

Here's a huge puddle/stream that we had to ford along the trail.  The jeep went through no problems.

He did a great job and will have opportunity to do it again throughout the summer.
